Jennie Lanksford
Head of Operations
From the age of six, I began playing the cornet and soon found myself performing in a variety of brass bands. What started as a childhood hobby grew into more than twelve years of music-making, including countless competitions and concerts, several European tours, and even recording an album. The whole experience taught me discipline, teamwork, and the joy of performing - lessons that have stayed with me ever since.
I’ve carried a strong sense of teamwork and preparation throughout my career, and it’s shaped a deep passion for helping others succeed. My support for individual leaders quickly expanded as I discovered that their clients also valued my involvement. Over the past 35 years, I’ve built a broad skill set across finance, business, and project support, continually adapting to the needs of those I work with. I feel genuinely fortunate that I absolutely love working with Team CI. I’m energised every day by the valued client relationships I’ve built over many years, and I’m proud to continue strengthening them as part of the work I do.
As my work grew, I realised maintaining my fitness was crucial. I joined a running club and, with persistent, steady practice, am now a committed, passionate runner. I’ve run many 10ks, countless half‑marathons, and three UK marathons, including the iconic London Marathon. When I’m not running long distance, I’m running CI with the same focus and energy.
