Rob Olorenshaw
Executive Coach
I have been coaching for over a decade, following a broad and interesting career as a director across a range of sectors and disciplines, including business transformation, operational management, HR and integrating businesses. One of my most enjoyable high-performance business achievements was as Chief Operating Officer on the board of an incredibly successful, award-winning business with growth of 30% year-on-year, achieving £1bn turnover.
This background means I understand what makes organisations tick. I now work alongside senior leaders to work out the outcomes they want to achieve, support them to achieve those outcomes and recognise when they have got there. I’m told by the people I coach that I support them while also providing healthy challenge, often taking them outside their comfort zone!
I believe passionately in coaching as a profession, having qualified as a Professional ICF Certified Coach and as a Coach Supervisor. Being a coach supervisor enables me to also support other coaches in becoming the best possible coach they can be.
I also have a huge passion for rugby, having played for my local club over many years – always pushing myself to perform at my best; first as scrum-half and now as a Director and Vice-President of the club.
